Membership includes:

• a double invitation to all Academy evening opening functions, the chance to preview and purchase new work from established and emerging artists from all over the country

• advance notice and entry forms for all Academy exhibitions

• Lower commission on sales: 33.33% (non members 40%)

• Free artwork submission to Academy exhibitions (non members pay a $12 handling fee per work).

• A free copy of ArtNews the Academy newsletter, a quarterly magazine containing details of Academy people, upcoming exhibitions, reviews of previous exhibitions and events. Keeps members informed of other news, events and exhibitions around the country.

• Use of the members lounge and meeting area.

• Rental of works from the Academy Collection

• Reduced admission fees to any chargeable Academy exhibitions

• Academy Members discount entitlements at selected Art suppliers

• The ongoing support of one of the foundations of Art in New Zealand

with special rates for students and seniors,
