 Purchased from the 1942 Annual Exhibition with a T.G. Macarthy Trust grant and presented by the Academy to the National Art Gallery in 1943. She gained international recognition as a portrait painter. The portrait to the right of the chimney in the dining room is of Cecil Kelly.
