Jan Alldritt-Miller

Jan is one of N.Z.’s foremost representational watercolourists; she paints in acrylics using a water colour technique. Her subject matter is wide -ranging, gardens, florals, child and life studies, rural memorabilia – textures are a passion! Rusty train tracks, weathered timber, brickwork all inspire her.

Jan has an impressive lists of awards. She has tutored adult art in Auckland for over 30 years, and nowadays exhibits and teaches mainly from “Treetops” her Gallery at Sandspit {near Warkworth}. She is a sought-after tutor for her 2-day painting workshops and demonstrations around the country, and also enjoys travelling to judge local art awards. Much of her work has been reproduced on cards and in calendars and books - most recently “N.Z. in Watercolour“ 30 leading Artists paint their country”.
