Membership includes:

• A double invitation to all Academy evening opening functions, offering the chance to preview and purchase new work from established and emerging artists from all over the country.

• Regular members' e-newsletters with everything you need to know about exhibitions and information on exhibition opportunities at the Academy.
• A free copy of the Academy's printed bi-annual newsletter containing details of upcoming exhibitions, reviews of previous exhibitions and events, artist interviews and other news of interest.

• The opportunity to submit work to at least four annual themed exhibitions, two annual Solo exhibitions and a permanent sales gallery. There is also the opportunity to converse with our curator in advance of each exhibition.

• Advance notice of, and an artist's entry form to, all Academy exhibitions.

• Lower commission on art sales: 33.33% (non members 40%) and an exhibition handling fee of only $10.

• Association with one of NZ's foundational art institutions. 

Standard: $85.

Senior: $65. Aged 65 years and over                                                  

Student: $50. A student must be enrolled at a recognised educational institution as a full time student. Please provide student I.D number and graduation date.
