Beryl Buchanan

A highly experienced potter, Beryl Buchanan has contributed a range of different styles of work to the Academy over many years in both stoneware and porcelain. In fact, her work has been at the centre of the gallery's sales of, and reputation for, object-based work.

Buchanan's work is distinguished by beautiful glazes obtained through reduction firing. Recently, Bucahanan presented four elegant 'copper red' vessels, including a 'ball vase' and three flute-edged bowls.
